This original landscape water colour of Hadrians Wall was one of the many small paintings on the way to the collection piece click here to see it.

I enjoyed trying out different colour schemes. This one really suits the landscape. You can see the way the paint works with the paper here. The grainy effect is due to the heavy use of cerulean blue as this paint carryus a lot of sediment.
